By virtue of working in a regional area, I am a General Radiologist. I did some post-Fellowship training in MRI and musculoskeletal radiology in the USA.
Radiology is a relationship business. Connecting with my medical colleagues and mutual patients, is the best aspect. The medical problem solving is also satisfying.
One reason I entered the field is because it has always evolved with technology. I’m looking forward to the changes artificial intelligence will make, as well as new imaging modalities and technological advancements, providing even greater image resolution to help diagnose and manage disease.
